On Monday and Tuesday August 16 and 17 ICC One-Day Internationals Scotland v Afghanistan at Citylets Ayr (New Cambusdoon Afghanistan will play their last match.

The Scottish Afghan Society is hosting an official dinner for the Afghan National Team to honour their achievements in a very short time. The Afghan Team does not even have a National Stadium where they can practice their Cricket and they have to go to neighbouring countries for practice. Our guest of honour include the Afghan National Team, Anas Sarwar MP, MSPs Anne Mclaughlin, representative from the Glasgow lord Provost office Mr. Hanzala Malik, Strathclyde Police Mr. Rury Nicolson and other invited guests including the Afghan Community in Scotland.
Cricket is the only positive things right now in Afghanistan which promote the country's name, image and many young people are queuing to join and National Team.
